A stunning Victorian necklace with the iconic symbol of luck as the main feature, with glorious plump Old Mine Cut Diamonds tapering to form the beautiful horseshoe. Each Diamond is carefully claw set into the design with a beautiful pierced scrolled gallery below, all made by hand in around 1880.
The horseshoe has been converted from an original Victorian brooch and made into a much more wearable necklace, the horseshoe is made in 15ct Gold and Silver. We have added an original Victorian belcher chain, with a sought after push-in barrel clasp made in 9ct Gold and featuring the original 9ct tag, to give the piece an authentic look. The overall length of the necklace is 17 inches.
The Old Mine Cut Diamonds total approximately 0.81 Carat and are beautifully bright stones. SI1 - SI2 Clarity and H - I Colour. The largest Diamond weighs approximately 0.15 Carat and the smallest stones weigh 0.05 Carat each approximately.
The horseshoe measures 9mm x 15mm.
A truly stunning piece which looks beautiful on its own or could be layered up with other vintage necklaces for a really cool look.
